About Date Saskatoon
How it Works
-
Step 1 - Calm Those Nerves
We all know that nerves can get in the way with doing something new, putting yourself out there and in dating!
We got you!
At the beginning of all of our events, we will support you with a guided meditation to drop you into your body, connect with your heart, and calm your nervous system so that you are able to enjoy the rest of the event with a regulated nervous system!
This also supports you in allowing you to discern from a place of regulation, coming out of the nervous system’s fight/flight response. When you’re meeting people with a regulated nervous system, you are better able to discern who would be a good match for you!
-
Step 2 - Get Moving
What better way to meet people than during an activity that is engaging and promotes communication and interaction!
Each of the singles event will include an activity that will allow you to experience joy and ease while also getting to know each of the other participants!
Scroll down below to choose one or all of them that interests you!
-
Step 3 - Socialize
After the activity, you’ll have a chance to socialize and get to know everyone at your own pace!
Upon registration, you’ll sign up for our app that will allow you to create a profile. When you arrive, you’ll log in to the app, allowing you to see who else is attending and whether there’s anyone you’d like to intentionally connect with during the social part of the event! At each event, you’ll use the app to indicate anyone you’d like to match up with!
Following the event, you’ll receive your matches so you’re able to connect with someone even further!

“Connection is why we’re here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives.”
– Brené Brown
“We look down at our phones instead of into eyes. We text instead of call. We build walls when we should be building bridges. We are so guarded and then we wonder why we don’t feel love and connection. Lift your eyes, open your heart, and lean into your discomfort. Great relationships happen by choice not by chance.”
